I have a blog website for my hobby and one of my passion. And I agree with most of your points here, and I plan to monetize it in the future. With some of your advice, I instinctively apply when writing my articles, and some don’t, so thank you for reminding me and had taken notes.
I like how you presented this article and came across tips I had never seen before that I could apply to my articles.
My niche is all about small details, so sometimes I come up with over 3k to 4k words of articles. Because I need to explain it thoroughly, and a lot of myth busting needed. Sometimes, my paragraphs are too long, and I must balance the layout with many pictures to break the text.
You created a very sensible and concise article.
We are all still in school and learning while we live 🙂 I agree with you that too long paragraphs can be tiring for a certain part of your audience and that’s why images are a good option to enhance your article. It has been a very good reminder for me personally what it takes to write a very good article. I use to get so caught up in my daily routine and my 9-5 job that when I finally find time to sit down and start creating for my blog, I tend to forget all the important details that you have listed above.
In your opinion, is it better to write shorter post articles say (500 – 700) words or rather longer ones (>1000 words) and why?
As I observe that writing longer blog posts just takes so much time. I wonder if I can cut corners sometimes.

Tatiana, you asked me an excellent question. It’s true that writing bigger and longer articles takes more time, but if we stick to 1500 to 2500 articles, in the beginning, it’s safe to say that Google will rank us better and we’ll get more traffic and more audience. I don’t know how many posts you have, but you can also add content to your existing articles. For example, let’s say 300, 400 words and some image 🙂 which Google will recognize and increase your content. This is what our WA platform teaches us.
